Don’t Fall Over The Cliff Just Yet

Let’s take a look at another Cliffhanger shall we.

You have your Resonating Remark. It cuts the scene right after your character has said something significant, suggestive, or pertinent.

Let’s look at another scene from my book…

Jennifer sobbed, shoulders hunched. She looked into the eyes of someone she believed to be a stranger. A whisper entered her ear, “I know everything about you. Everything in the world.”

Would you say that this falls into this style of Cliffhanger?

Remember the passage you just read as you look at this Cliffhanger.

Emotional Cliffhanger involves some sort of emotion and your character’s response to that emotion.

In your own mind, where does the passage best fall under? Would it be best suited for both or can we limit it to just one?

More Cliffhangers to come. Support your fellow bloggers and see what they have to say today.
